PM Kisan 24th Instalment Released: What to Do If Your ₹2,000 Has Not Arrived

The 24th PM-KISAN instalment of ₹2,000 per farmer was released on 30 October 2026. Here is how to check your status and what to fix if the money has not come.

Published 5 November 2026. The instalment was released on 30 October 2026.

What happened

The 24th instalment of PM-KISAN was released on 30 October 2026, ahead of Diwali. Reports say about ₹18,680 crore (one report cites a ministry figure of over ₹18,690 crore) went to more than 9.34 crore farmers. Each eligible farmer family gets ₹2,000, which is one of three yearly instalments adding up to ₹6,000 a year. It was released from Bhildi in Banaskantha district, Gujarat.

Check whether your money has arrived

  1. Check your bank passbook or SMS for a credit of ₹2,000.
  2. On the official PM-KISAN portal, use the Know Your Status option with your registration number, captcha and OTP.

If it has not arrived, check these four things

What to check What to do
e-KYC It is mandatory. Complete it by OTP, by fingerprint at a CSC, or by face scan in the app. See our e-KYC step-by-step guide.
Aadhaar details Your name and number must be correct and properly linked to your bank account.
Bank account Account number and IFSC must be correct and the account active.
Land records State authorities must have verified your land ownership. Ask your local agriculture office if it is pending.

If the problem continues after these checks, contact your local agriculture department or PM-KISAN support. The report I read gives no specific helpline number, so use the contact details on the official portal.

Why some farmers do not get paid

The usual causes are incomplete e-KYC, a bank account that is not linked to Aadhaar, mismatched names, or pending land verification. Fixing these before the next instalment avoids delay. Do not pay anyone to “release” your money. The scheme pays directly into your bank account.
